Having a clear goal is crucial to avoid falling into despair.

I learned this the hard way when I attempted to follow Brian P. Moran’s 12-week-year plan without visualizing my objectives. As a result, I didn’t reach any of my goals and came close to giving up. I ended up tracking my progress without any clear direction.

Now, I understand the importance of being purposeful and focused to achieve meaningful results.

I have learned a lot from people who maintain a well-planned schedule. They have taught me that being organized and avoiding procrastination is key to success. Those who adhere to a schedule are punctual, and they start and end their workday at the same time every day. Their unwavering discipline emphasizes the importance of managing our time to achieve success.

To gain control over your life, start by taking control of your schedule.

Achieving personal temporal freedom comes at the cost of losing the ability to coordinate with others. To distinguish between helpful activities and distractions, we must plan.

Distractions are a common coping mechanism for discomfort, and they waste our time. They are motivated by the desire to avoid unpleasant feelings.

Recognizing this reality, we can see that learning to tolerate discomfort is the only way to manage distractions.
