Creating defined roles within your team, even if job titles carry little weight, is crucial for success.

It can be challenging to be an engineering manager without an engineering background. Nonetheless, prioritizing a human-centric approach to managing your team is essential. Collaboration and building a sense of community among team members are crucial for success.

Investing in the growth and development of engineers is vital to drive your career growth. Dependability is also crucial, as delivering quality work within set deadlines is essential.

Teamwork is the most effective way to maintain successful projects.

Empowerment, confidence, and skill-building are all valued traits within our team. The team encourages all members to take the initiative, make decisions, and lead the way. The team works together to solve problems and update stakeholders on project progress. The team breaks down projects into milestones and estimates the work needed for each. External domain experts should oversee work without interfering with the team’s self-organization.

Approach setbacks with a growth mindset and view them as opportunities to learn and grow. The approach to challenges and obstacles impacts the team culture.
