Having Perspective During Hard Times

Our perspective is the only thing we control.

While we may not control our situation, we can choose how we view it and focus on the variables we can change. Stoicism teaches us to accept what we can’t control and focus on what we can change within ourselves.

We often take things for granted, leading to boredom and a desire for more. Anything worthwhile has drawbacks, but avoiding obsessing over everything is vital.
